Supervision Group
Dynamic Group Supervision held two Wednesdays’ each month, from 7:30-9 pm in Chelsea, NYC.  The group is open to Clinicians with various levels of experience. The group will provide a safe and supportive environment to discuss feelings and experiences around; transference/countertransference, somatic countertransference, self-care, burnout, compassion fatigue and how to prevent the latter and support the former.The sessions are lead by Cara A. Gallo, M.S. BC-DMT/LCAT, an experienced group therapist (Eastern Group Psychotherapy Society Class of 2013) with many years of experience within both health care and educational settings.  Cara understands first-hand the challenges and rewards posed for the ‘helping professional’.  She deeply believes that in order to sustain oneself as a ‘helping professional’ it is necessary to have a strong and consistent community of support.

On-Going Authentic Movement Group
Authentic Movement is the simple practice of freely from and following one’s inner impulses while being witnessed in a non-judgmental and empathic way.  The practice of Authentic Movement supports one’s health, creativity and relationships and is a way of getting in touch with oneself on a deeper level.  Additionally, Authentic Movement will allow one to a space in one’s “plugged-in” life for quiet listening to what one needs, desires and intuitively knows.  
Sessions are lead by; Cara Gallo, M.S. BC-DMT/LCAT.  Sessions are held every other Thursday evening from 6:30-8:30 pm, in Chelsea, NYC.
